About Geriatric Support/Pathway Care

Geriatric Support/Pathway Care, a professional geriatric care management agency, was founded in 1988 by Karel Bretsch and Miriam Oliensis-Torres. Karel and Miriam are masters degreed certified social workers who have been working with the elderly and their families since the early 1980’s. Our staff are all social workers with many years of experience in a variety of settings, including: geriatric medical and psychiatric settings, home care agencies, adult day programs, nursing homes, assisted living settings, and other community-based agencies. In addition, our staff members are dedicated teachers, educating others in technical colleges, universities, and local, regional, and national workshops and conferences.
